STACY SHERMAN
Inventor and CEO
Stacy Sherman is an Oscar nominated and Emmy Award winning documentary filmmaker (GOD SLEEPS IN RWANDA). She Associate Produced the multi award winning documentaries CHASING ICE and THE BABUSHKAS OF CHERNOBYL-which, on Rotten Tomatoes, received a 100% score.
As a writer, Stacy has sold screenplays to 20th Century Fox, Tri Star Pictures and Warner Bros.
Additionally, Stacy has been co-writing stage plays with Gail Parent, the immensely gifted 13 Emmy Nominee comedy writer (Mary Tyler Moore, Tracey Ullman Show, Golden Girls), etc.
Stacy and Gail have completed two stage plays: Euthanasia, Almost Musical & Sheila Levine Is Dead and Living in New York, based on Gail’s wildly successful NY Times bestseller; four plus decades later it is still as relevant and hysterical as it was when it was first published.
Euthanasia just had its staged reading at The Wordsymyth Theater in Houston; a five star theatre dedicated to the development of theatrical works through the beginning stages through full production.
Stacy is currently producing both feature and television works.
Just before Covid 19, while sitting inside an airplane on a tarmac at LAX, after the plane’s cabin was instructed by the pilot to stay in their seats for what seemed an interminable amount of time, Stacy thought: “I wish I could move. I wish I could pedal my legs.” Stacy likes to move. And aha!
A chance encounter with brainiac Gregor Parent ensued and lo and behold, Gregor agreed to take this project on - Gregor took the idea from Stacy’s brain, and meticulously crafted the coolest looking, compact wheel of all time.
Who says one cannot reinvent the wheel?

GREGOR PARENT
Inventor and Chief Engineer
Gregor Parent is an MIT graduate in Mechanical Engineering with 25 years experience in software development and mechanical engineering across a wide spectrum of areas including Educational Games, Operating Systems, Networking, 3D Graphics, Programming Language Development, Computer Vision, Web Services, Simulation, Robotics and Microcontrollers. As a Principal Software Architect in Research at Microsoft, he lead the development team of original "Eye Gaze Wheelchair” project, developed a 3D printed robotic arm and pioneered devices and methods for precisely measuring the precision and accuracy of autonomous robots. At Amazon PrimeAir he produced critical simulation systems for training pilots and integrating hardware-in-the-loop simulation with computer vision in agile and continuous-integration environments. He also developed tools and strategies for back-end "cloud" processing of big data produced by unmanned autonomous vehicles (UAVs) and novel test automation technologies for avionics firmware. In 2019 Stacy challenged him to come up with a truly lightweight and portable stationary pedal design and the Ready Pedal was born.
